Strane Innovation, based in the Paris region, drives research and innovation while developing operational activities that bring ideas to market. Since its creation in 2013, Strane has launched three specialised initiatives: SEITISS (2021), focused on transforming industrial waste into circular products; Newasys (2020), dedicated to water efficiency and the reuse of non-conventional water; and BlueMapping (2022), providing advanced runoff flood modelling software.
Strane’s work is anchored in four research themes: zero-waste industries, the major water cycle, terrestrial ecosystems, and cognition and society.
Its mission is clear: to accelerate the exploitation and development of innovations at the European level, and to advance research and innovation activities aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, including SDGs 6, 7, 9, 11, 12, 15 and 16.
Main Task
STRANE plays a central role in SPLENDOR by leading the project’s Dissemination, Communication and Exploitation activities.
The organisation contributes to all related tasks, ensuring that the project’s outcomes are effectively shared, understood, and connected to real opportunities for impact.
STRANE’s involvement is driven by a strong interest in bio-based innovations and by the project’s potential to deliver meaningful benefits beyond its technical scope. Through targeted communication, broad dissemination and strategic exploitation, STRANE helps reach the right stakeholders, spark interest in the results, and open pathways for positive impact including new jobs, business opportunities and long-term collaborations.
